So, my wife has started to become interested in electric vehicles and, to be honest, I might be too. I spend on average £280-£300 a month on petrol, and I could potentially pay that, or just shy of it, towards an EV instead; no more buying expensive fuel, no/little maintenance, OK higher insurance but slightly lower car tax?
Our longest regular trip is probably a round trip of around 200 miles to see my daughters, which is very doable in a modern electric car. So yeah, let’s look at it and see where it takes us.
Whether we use salary sacrifice, another 3rd-party scheme or simply lease one, we don’t know yet.
